To maintain a fair and sustainable trading environment, the following strategies are strictly prohibited on the ProFinance platform:
β
1. Luck-Based Strategies:
Using methods that rely on chance or lack a clear risk management plan is not allowed. These include:
Excessive Scalping:
Executing numerous trades closed in under a minute, especially when more than 50% of trades fall into this category.Example: A trader places 70 trades, 40 of which are closed within 45 seconds, which is considered excessive scalping.
Martingale:
Opening multiple positions on the same instrument while they are in loss, without a clear risk management strategy.Example: Opening five losing positions on EUR/USD and adding another position without proper risk management.
All-In:
Opening a large position without a stop-loss, where the outcome of the trade directly determines the success or failure of the account.Example: Opening a 3-lot position on USD/JPY without a stop-loss on a $10,000 account, risking the entire account on a single trade.
2. Grid Trading:
Placing multiple orders at fixed intervals (e.g., every 20 pips) without a clear risk management plan.
Example: Setting a grid of orders on AUD/USD (buys at 0.6700, 0.6720, 0.6740 and sells at 0.6680, 0.6660, 0.6640) without a clear exit strategy.
3. Rapid Reversal After Losses:
Entering the market in the opposite direction immediately after closing a losing position to recover losses quickly. This disrupts proper performance evaluation.
Rule: You must wait at least 10 minutes before opening a position in the opposite direction.
Note:
ProFinance monitors compliance with these rules to assess traders' discipline and strategy. Using prohibited strategies like those listed above may result in disqualification, loss of account access, or inability to advance to the funding stage. On funded accounts, non-compliance with these rules may lead to withdrawal requests being denied.
Ensure you follow all rules and trade responsibly!
